Former Putin aide Vladislav Surkov, considered the architect of “Putinism,” has once again emerged from the shadows and gave an interview to the French L’Express.
Journalists apparently decided that the shortest way into Putin’s head is to look into Surkov’s sick mind.
So what is the ex-curator of the “Russian Spring,” the author of the concept of “sovereign democracy,” and one of the main ideologists of the war against Ukraine saying?

🔻 “The Russian world is everywhere where Russia’s cultural, informational, military, economic, ideological influence reaches…”
🔻 “We will expand in all directions…”
In short: Surkov confirms that the Russian myth is eternal war and a threat to the world.
Formally, Surkov is in exile, but his rhetoric is not a deviation from the course, but its quintessence. This is not the “personal opinion” of a man who is no longer in power, but a direct articulation of Russia’s strategy: terror against its neighbors and justification of colonial wars under the guise of a “mission.”
